Clause 1: All-Inclusive Price Transparency and Multi-Currency Settlement
Trip Express Vietnam Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Trip Express") enforces a strict all-inclusive service pricing standard across the global trip.express platform and its attached domain shan.voyage, complying with international consumer protection standards (EU Omnibus Directive, UK Consumer Rights Act, APAC e-commerce regulations) and Articles 30, 31, and 32 of Vietnam Decree 52/2013/ND-CP (as amended by Decree 85/2021/ND-CP):
- Global Multi-Currency Pricing and Settlement: Services offered across global destinations are priced in the applicable destination or settlement currency (
USD,EUR,GBP,JPY,SGD,AUD,VND, etc.) with real-time multi-currency display. For services fulfilled within Vietnam or processed through Vietnamese domestic payment rails, prices and settlement amounts are stated in Vietnamese Dong (VND) in accordance with local currency regulations. - All-Inclusive Service Prices (Taxes and Invoices Included): Every price displayed across catalog listings, service detail pages (transport, yacht charters, accommodation, dining, guided tours, and event tickets), and the shopping cart on trip.express and shan.voyage is an all-inclusive service price that already includes applicable Value Added Tax (VAT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), consumption tax, official tax invoice issuance costs, platform service fees, mandatory passenger insurance, and standard port or venue fees.
- Guaranteed 0% Fee Payment Options: The platform always provides Instant Bank Transfer and QR Pay (0% fee) and X-Pay Global Wallet (0% fee) by default so Customers worldwide can pay 100% of the exact listed price with zero payment processing surcharge. When a Customer optionally selects a fee-bearing card network, the applicable card processing fee is transparently itemized in the Order Summary before the Customer confirms payment.
- Zero Hidden Fees Guarantee: Once a reservation is confirmed and paid, neither Trip Express nor the Supplier may levy any undisclosed mandatory surcharge or tax invoice surcharge beyond the confirmed booking amount, unless the Customer voluntarily requests additional optional on-site services.
Clause 2: Global Payment Methods and Card Processing Fee Schedule
Customers booking on trip.express and shan.voyage worldwide may select from the following licensed payment methods with transparent method-specific gateway processing fees:
- Instant Bank Transfer and QR Pay (0% Fee): Real-time bank transfers and dynamic order-specific QR payments across supported regional banking rails (including VietQR 24/7, PayNow, SEPA Instant, and Faster Payments) with instant automated confirmation and a 0% processing fee.
- X-Pay Global Multi-Currency Wallet and SHAN PRIVÉ Credits (0% Fee): Instant settlement using multi-currency prepaid balance, corporate credit lines, or SHAN PRIVÉ loyalty credits with a 0% processing fee.
- Local Debit Card Networks (1.1% Gateway Fee): Regional domestic debit card networks (including NAPAS, EFTPOS, Girocard, and local debit schemes) processed via local acquiring gateways. A 1.1% domestic gateway processing fee applies and is displayed in the Order Summary prior to confirmation.
- International Payment Cards - Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, UnionPay (3.5% Card Fee): International credit and debit cards processed globally via PCI-DSS Level 1 acquiring gateways (Airwallex, Stripe, OnePay International). A 3.5% international card processing fee applies and is transparently itemized in the Order Summary before payment execution.
- Pay at Counter (0% Platform Fee): Available for designated dining, experience, or transport listings where advance reservation holding with on-site settlement at the Supplier's venue is explicitly enabled.
Clause 3: Global Collection Agent Mechanism and Buyer Escrow Protection
Trip Express operates legally as a registered E-Commerce Service Marketplace and authorized Payment Collection Agent on behalf of independent domestic and international Suppliers under commercial agency agreements:
- Upon successful online payment on trip.express or shan.voyage, the Customer's all-inclusive payment obligation to the Supplier for that reservation is legally satisfied.
- Customer funds are recorded in a dedicated multi-currency collection ledger managed by Trip Express under two-way escrow protection rules.
- Trip Express disburses collected funds to the fulfilling Supplier only after a valid E-Ticket or Booking Confirmation has been issued and service fulfillment is verified. If a Supplier cancels a service or fails to deliver the confirmed booking, Trip Express directly refunds 100% of the paid amount to the Customer's original payment instrument.
Clause 4: Global Tax Invoices and Fiscal Receipts Included in Listed Prices
To streamline corporate and individual accounting across jurisdictions and comply with international tax invoicing standards (including EU VAT Directives and Vietnam Decree 123/2020/ND-CP and Decree 70/2025/ND-CP):
- Because all service prices published on trip.express and shan.voyage already include applicable VAT/GST and invoice issuance, Customers are never charged any additional tax percentage when receiving payment receipts or requesting an official tax invoice.
- Immediately upon payment confirmation, the platform automatically dispatches an electronic Booking Confirmation and Collection Receipt to the Customer's email address.
- Because Trip Express acts as an authorized payment collection intermediary, the statutory obligation to issue the official VAT/GST tax invoice for the underlying transport, accommodation, yacht charter, or experience service rests directly with the fulfilling Supplier. Customers requiring a corporate tax invoice simply provide their billing details (Company Legal Name, Tax/VAT ID, Registered Address, Recipient Email) in the Special Requests field at Checkout so the Supplier can issue the official electronic tax invoice for the full paid service amount.
Clause 5: Payment Transaction Security Commitment (PCI-DSS Level 1 and 3D-Secure 2.0)
In compliance with international financial security standards and Article 74 of Decree 52/2013/ND-CP, Trip Express enforces multi-layered security controls to protect Customer payment data globally:
- Cryptographic and Compliance Standards: All payment transmissions are encrypted via TLS 1.3 and processed directly through global payment infrastructures (Airwallex, Stripe, OnePay) certified to PCI-DSS Level 1 standards.
- Zero Storage of Sensitive Card Credentials: trip.express and shan.voyage servers never store raw Primary Account Numbers (PAN), CVV or CVC security codes, or bank PINs. Optional saved-card convenience relies exclusively on cryptographic tokens issued by the payment processor.
- Multi-Factor Transaction Authentication: Online card payments enforce 3D-Secure 2.0 cardholder verification (bank OTP or biometric authentication) alongside OneUID (uid.one) session integrity checks.
- Liability and Remediation for System Breaches: If Customer payment data on trip.express or shan.voyage is altered, disclosed, or compromised due to a technical security failure attributable to Trip Express resulting in direct financial loss, Trip Express will coordinate with the acquiring bank and payment gateway to reimburse 100% of any unauthorized deduction in accordance with applicable law.
