What is the UID 3-Component Security Architecture?
Last Updated June 8, 2026
The sovereign identity network is built upon a 3-Component security architecture to safeguard sensitive credentials:
1. Layer 1: Browser Layer (UID Link)
A secure browser extension enforcing Data Loss Prevention (DLP), origin lockdown, same-origin clipboard lock, and screen capture prevention.
2. Layer 2: Identity Origin Layer (UID One Vault)
A hardware-secured mobile app storing credentials inside Apple's Secure Enclave or Android StrongBox. Vault backups utilize biometric-bound Zero-Knowledge (ZK) sync via HKDF.
3. Layer 3: Integration Layer (UID Auth SDK)
An application integration layer supporting OIDC/SAML flows, local JSON Web Key Sets (JWKS) token signature verification, and RFC 9449 DPoP sender-constraint bindings.
